SUNY Potsdam College Archives include papers, photos, and memorabilia relative to the history of Potsdam College (including the Potsdam Normal School) since 1869 and some material related to the earlier St. Lawrence Academy. In addition to general materials, the archives contain material related to the School of Education and Professional Studies, School of Arts and Sciences, and the Crane School of Music. The latter collection includes papers, photos, and tapes relative to the Crane School of Music, including Julia Crane Papers and Helen Hosmer Papers. SUNY Potsdam College Libraries Special Collections includes books on the history of Northern New York, Adirondack region, St. Lawrence River, Seaway, and Snell Collections containing papers of Bertrand Snell, Potsdam businessman and member, U.S. Congress (1914-1939).

The Potsdam Normal Magazine was published by the Potsdam Normal School Administration and Faculty for distribution to alumni of the college. It was published between 1897 and 1942.
